Hong Kong x Malaysia Youth Webinar

It is challenging to start or develop a business during the COVID-19 pandemic. A lot of Hong Kong youths of start-ups might be interested in developing their businesses in the overseas market to increase revenue and expand the customer base. Apart from the popular Greater Bay Area market, where could be another option of starting a business outside Hong Kong?

We are glad to invite representatives from Malaysia, respectively, Roger Tan, Councilor of Melaka Historic City Council, Tan Kar Yap, who works at HISTRONG Design in Malaysia, and Wong Kang Xian, lawyer in Malaysia, to introduce the Malaysian community, culture and lifestyle online. Four separate groups will also be conducted on the same day based on the following topics:
1. Life and development in Malaysia
2. The reality and challenges of starting a business
3. The rights and duties of starting a business in Malaysia; and
4. Food industry in Malaysia

Thanks to the support of The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, we are also pleased to invite Mr Teddy Lam, Hong Kong youth entrepreneur, to share his experience and challenges of developing his business in Kuala Lumpur. Grab this chance to know more about working in Malaysia!
